EXCLUSIVE: The killers and the killed. One year later, some of Sri Lanka’s bomb survivors say their loved ones did not die in vain.

At a village church about 20 miles north of the Sri Lankan capital Colombo, a large notice board displays a list of names starting at 1 and ending at 115. Alongside is a poem. It ends: “Safely Home in Heaven.”

On Easter Sunday exactly one year ago, all of these 115 people, including 27 children, were killed by one murderer – who exploded his suicide bomb-vest during a church service.
